Percy: The Floofy Grudge Holder with a Heart of Gold 🐾💖
Meet Percy – the floofy little drama king with a love for plants, tiny boxes, and selective affection. Percy’s story isn’t just adorable — it’s a peek into the heart of a cat who’s quirky, clingy, and unapologetically himself.
From the start, Percy’s been a unique little soul. He loves other animals — dogs included — but not other cats, especially Luna (we respect your boundaries, Percy 😅). That said, he's perfectly fine with our resident therapy cat, Patches. So clearly, he can be choosy.
He’s got guinea pig energy — munching plants like they’re a personal snack buffet, and seeking out the smallest, tightest spots to curl into. But don’t let the soft, floofy looks fool you. Percy’s got a memory like an elephant... especially if you dare take him to a vet or worse, a pet fair. That grudge? It's personal.

Baby Floof with a Tough Start
Before Elise adopted him, Percy was already a little warrior. He had a stubborn skin infection around his neck, which made his baby photos look a bit patchy (don’t worry — still mega cute!). The infection healed eventually, but it left two permanent bald lines on his neck, like tiny reminders from his early days.
Then came the fall — quite literally. When Percy was still young, he fell from the 1st floor. Elise rushed out in panic to find him stunned at the very spot he landed. From that day on, he decided indoor life was safer — and never tried to sneak out again.
A Velcro Cat with a Favorite Human
Percy is a one-human kind of cat. Elise is his person, and he makes it very obvious. He answers only to her, waits for her to come home, and even scolds her if she’s late (classic cat mom guilt trip). And when he misses her? He climbs right into bed, curls up next to her, and becomes the clingiest cuddle bug.
Special Diet, Special Preferences
Percy will only eat one specific kind of wet food made for special needs cats — because he knows what he wants. And yes, he loves a good butt whack... but only from men. We’re not judging. 😆
From Floof to Bald Patches: A Journey of Healing
In recent years, Elise noticed Percy starting to groom excessively, especially around his back legs, leading to bald patches. From his floofy days in 2022 to visible balding in 2023–2025, it became clear that something deeper was going on.
That’s when Elise reached out to us. Percy is now undergoing bioresonance therapy with us, alongside Patches (yes, from our earlier blog 💛). His stress-related symptoms are being addressed, and he’s just completed his first two sessions.
We're proud to support both Percy and Patches on their healing journey — helping their bodies and minds rebalance naturally.
